Finally had a bit of time to do an initial redesign for my website http://eduardomachuca.com !
Just a first version, nothing fancy. And still, the links for Weddings and Family photography point to my old website http://www.eduardomachuca.net
So, next work to do is to create a separate website for wedding photography and another for family photography... they both will be accessible through eduardomachuca.com but I'm planning to have a subdomain name for each.
Anyway, glad I finally had the time to do it... still more work to do but the first step is always important :-)

Trash-The-Dress session at the Bel Air Collection Cancun
I haven't posted to this blog in an eternity... a bit more than 6 months to be exact. I find the Social thingy a bit too time consuming and distracting. I'd rather spend my time creating beautiful images for my clients and give them a better service and respond quickly to their emails or phone calls and spend the few time left to perfect my craft, rather than spend the whole day in Facebook, and much less in twitter which I still don't get what is it for ;-( What I love about the internet? Plain old web browsing and plain old e-Mail. Simple things make me happy.
Anyway, I've been advised that I should re-take the social thing, otherwise, if more people like myself don't use the blog nor Facebook nor twitter, the market capital valuation for those companies will be degraded, people will get fired, and the economy will collapse and I won't have happy paying clients. Thus, in order to keep the order in the universe, my first post in 6 months...
And, just a quick post to show some fresh images made for a really nice couple at the Bel Air Collection Cancun hotel. The one at the sea is from the Trash-The-Dress part, and the one at the pier is after them changing clothes and ready to depart for a boat tour and catch the sunset at the sea.
See you soon! promise to post more often but still have some re-designing work to do on my website.

My photography book: Images to Read – Imágenes para Leer
The book Images to Read shows a photography sample of the street poetry works of Armando Alanis-Pulido, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Since 1996, Armando has been painting unused street walls with short poetic verses. As the walls get painted over, Armando’s work is a never ending one and should be close to having painted about 5,000 walls by now.
Walls poems’ text translated into English.
